EyeSort

the optical
turn part control system

EyeSort = EyeSpector + Bue-tec

The EyeSort systems are based on the successful EVT image processing systems and the MAS sorting hardware. To get a general idea about the systems please have a look at EyeSort brochure for download.

Especially for the control of turning parts EVT created an optimized inspection system based on the successful hardware and software platform EyeSpector.

We extended the graphical programming surface by macro instructions which particularly simplify the configuration of control tasks considerably.

So, the most different turn part measurement and control tasks can be realized only by a few mouse clicks. The commands are able to recognize automatically the component's turn position and execute afterwards the necessary measurement and control tasks, according to the detected position.

Basis for a robust solution is the compact hardware in which the sensor as well as the evaluation unit with the software are integrated. Because of a low heat development it operates completely without fan. Especially in dusty and oily environments this guarantees a low-maintenance system. The processing power of the used computer corresponds to the current PC CPU.

A real-time operating system in the camera guarentees that the image evaluation software EyeVision does not miss a trigger and also actuates the sort unit in time. High-quality CCD sensors with standard resolutions of 640 x 480 up to 1600 x 1200 pixels allow precise measurements down to 1/100 mm.

The precision of the measurement is influenced decisively by the objective. Therefore the camera provides a standard C-mount connection. So the selection out of all available objectives is possible e.g. telecentric objectives for highly precise measuring tasks.

Into only cigarette box large housings the integrated flash disk stores data up to 8 Gbyte e.g. images, measured values, statistical data. This is enough to store about 24000 images plus additional statistics. At anytime it is possible to transfer the resulting evaluation data via ethernet to the master computer.

By an optional existing monitor interface each standard monitor can be connected, to see the images and the according evaluation results. Thus, the user can view anytime the current test run.

Additional provided accessories complete the EyeSort systems -  from the partial sort up to a sort unit - everything is available for the systems.
