Eye Vision Technology (EVT) announces the successful integration of Allied Vision’s new ALECS smart camera into the EyeVision Software platform.

With this integration, EyeVision Software now fully supports the powerful ALECS smart camera, combining high-performance embedded AI processing with EVT’s proven machine vision capabilities – delivering a compact, flexible, and future-ready solution for industrial applications.

The ALECS integrates NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ directly inside the camera housing, enabling embedded AI processing without the need for an external PC. Featuring a 5.1 MP Sony IMX548 global shutter sensor and up to 81 fps at full resolution, the system is designed for demanding industrial environments. The IP67-rated housing ensures reliable operation even under harsh conditions.

EyeVision Software seamlessly supports the ALECS platform, allowing users to deploy classical image processing, rule-based inspection, and AI-based algorithms directly on the embedded NVIDIA hardware.
